Q3 earnings fall 21%

Gurugram-headquartered hospital network

FORTIS
Healthcare posted a 21.8% year-on-year drop in consolidated net profit to ₹193.7 crore for Q3 FY26, despite a 17.5% increase in revenue from operations to ₹2,265 crore. The decline in earnings was primarily driven by a one-time exceptional charge of ₹55.2 crore linked to the rollout of new labour regulations. This was partly cushioned by a ₹9.4 crore gain arising from the write-back of impairment in an associate entity, leading to a net exceptional impact of ₹45.9 crore for the quarter. On a quarter-on-quarter basis, net profit decreased 39.8%, while revenue from operations slipped 2.8% compared to the preceding quarter. Investment in securities market are subject to market risks.
