ICICI Bank Q2 Results: Net Profit Rises 5% YoY to ₹12,359 Crore; NII Up 7%, Operating Metrics Remain Strong.

ICICI Bank posted a 5.2% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit to ₹12,359 crore for the quarter ended Q2FY26, supported by steady loan growth and stable asset quality. The lender’s net interest income (NII) rose 7.4% YoY to ₹21,529 crore, compared to ₹20,048 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, reflecting strong growth in advances and a healthy credit demand environment. The bank’s core operating profit improved 6.5% to ₹17,078 crore, aided by robust performance across retail and corporate segments. Net interest margins (NIMs) remained resilient, highlighting effective cost management and an optimized asset mix. As the second-largest private sector bank in India, ICICI Bank continues to demonstrate consistent financial strength, backed by prudent risk management, diversified income streams, and a sustained focus on high-quality lending.
