JSWSTEEL
reported a 13.5% year-on-year (YoY) increase in its consolidated net profit for Q4 FY25, reaching ₹1,501 crore, up from ₹1,322 crore in the same period last year. The figure includes an exceptional charge of ₹44 crore. The company also declared a dividend of ₹2.8 per share.
Revenue from operations fell 3.1% YoY to ₹44,819 crore in the March 2025 quarter, compared to ₹46,269 crore in the previous year.
Operating EBITDA stood at ₹6,378 crore with a margin of 14.2%, supported by higher sales volumes and lower coking coal costs. Steel sales rose to 7.49 million tonnes, marking a 12% increase quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) and an 11% rise YoY. Domestic sales were 6.72 million tonnes, up 12% QoQ and 30% YoY.
Institutional sales volumes grew 11% QoQ and 33% YoY, while retail sales increased 15% QoQ and 25% YoY. Exports remained steady at 8% of sales from Indian operations.
