Indian equities finished solidly in the green on Monday, with both the Sensex and Nifty logging gains for the sixth consecutive session as investors welcomed fresh relief measures from the Reserve Bank of India aimed at supporting exporters affected by recent tariff-related disruptions. Banking and financial counters paced the rally, aided by optimism around improving Q2 earnings prospects. The S&P BSE Sensex ended 388 points higher, or 0.46%, at 84,950.95, while the NSE Nifty 50 climbed 103.40 points (0.4%) to close at 26,013.45, moving back above the 26,000 mark. In the broader market, small-caps gained 0.5%, while mid-caps surged 0.7%, hitting a new all-time high.
