Market Recap: Sensex back in action after brief pause, jumps 595 pts; Nifty crosses 25,200
: Indian equities rebounded on Tuesday, closing firmly in positive territory. The Sensex surged over 590 points while the Nifty 50 advanced past the 25,230 mark. Gains in automobile counters, optimism around U.S. trade discussions, and expectations of a U.S. Federal Reserve rate cut buoyed investor confidence.
The S&P BSE Sensex rallied 594.95 points, or 0.73%, to settle at 82,380.69. The NSE Nifty 50 ended higher by 169.90 points, or 0.68%, finishing at 25,239.
