Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) remained net buyers across all major segments. In the cash market, FIIs bought equities worth ₹383.76 crore. Their participation was stronger in derivatives, with net buying of ₹810.74 crore in Index Futures, ₹4,286.43 crore in Index Options, ₹187.86 crore in Stock Futures, and ₹778.62 crore in Stock Options. Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) were significant buyers in the cash market, recording a net purchase of ₹5,747.75 crore, providing strong support to the market. On the benchmark indices front, Nifty 50 closed at 24,056.00, up 34.35 points (0.10%), while the Sensex ended at 77,100.47, gaining 109.25 points (0.10%). Meanwhile, India VIX declined by 0.33 points (-2.50%) to 13.05, indicating easing volatility and improved market confidence. Overall Market View: Strong DII buying, positive FII participation across cash and derivatives, and a lower VIX suggest a moderately bullish market sentiment.
