NSE Holidays 2025: Diwali Stock Market Breaks, BSE Trading Calendar & Muhurat Trading Timings.

Investors preparing their schedules for Diwali 2025 should note that the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will remain shut on Tuesday, 21 October, on account of Diwali Lakshmi Puja, and again on Wednesday, 22 October, for Balipratipada. The only trading activity on 21 October will be the one-hour Muhurat Trading session, a long-standing tradition signifying the commencement of the new Hindu financial year, which is scheduled between 1:45 PM and 2:45 PM.
