MARUTI
i Q3 net profit climbs 4% YoY

Benchmark indices Nifty 50 and Sensex opened in the green on Wednesday, extending gains from the previous session. Market sentiment remained upbeat after a major trade pact with the European Union, raising hopes of an economic revival. In early trade at 9:15 AM IST, the Nifty 50 advanced 0.33% to 25,258.85, while the BSE Sensex edged up 0.04% to 81,892.36. On the global front, Asian markets showed a mixed trend, whereas US equities closed mostly higher overnight, with the S&P 500 hitting a fresh intraday record. Market participants will closely track Q3 earnings announcements, updates on the India–EU trade agreement, developments related to US tariff policies, movements in gold and silver prices, foreign institutional investor (FII) activity, and key domestic and global macroeconomic indicators. Adding to the cautious tone, the US Federal Reserve is set to announce its interest rate decision tomorrow, which may fuel volatility. Stocks in focus today include
