Fed Rate Expectations: Comments from Fed Governor Waller supporting unchanged rates boosted global risk appetite and pressured bond yields lower. 3. India VIX Falls: The volatility index dropped over 4% to 10.85, signalling reduced near-term market uncertainty. 4. Rupee Strengthens: The rupee gained 5 paise to 94.46 against the US dollar amid improving risk sentiment and expectations of foreign inflows. 5. Crude Oil Risk: Brent crude rose nearly 7% this week amid escalating US-Iran tensions, keeping inflation and market risks elevated. Auto stocks remained under pressure, with the Nifty Auto index falling around 4% for the week. Maruti Suzuki declined 5.1%, while Mahindra & Mahindra slipped 4.9%.
