Sensex Today Markets Recover From Lows; Nifty Holds Near 23,500 as $RELIANCE , Auto Stocks Gain
Indian benchmark indices staged a partial recovery during Wednesday’s midday session, supported by buying interest in Reliance Industries along with gains in auto and oil-linked counters. Despite the rebound, persistent weakness in FMCG, financial, and metal stocks kept the market in negative territory. the BSE Sensex was trading lower by 120 points at 75,071, while the NIFTY 50 declined 20 points, to 23,590 after slipping below the 23,600 mark. Market sentiment remained cautious, with declining stocks outnumbering gainers as 1,900 shares fell against 1,6414 advances. Sector-wise, oil & gas, energy, and automobile stocks emerged as key gainers, whereas FMCG and media shares continued to witness selling pressure.
