Friday, December 26, 2025: Indian benchmark equity indices were trading in the red on Friday, as the holiday-shortened week provided limited new cues for market participants. Trading resumed after markets remained shut on Thursday for the Christmas holiday. the Nifty stood at 26,084.85, slipping 0.22% or 57.25 points, while the Sensex declined 0.24% or 207.82 points to 85,200.88.
