By sectors, Nifty IT, Auto, FMCG, and Oil & Gas were the biggest laggards, sliding up to 0.6% on November 25. Infosys, TCS, HCL Tech, and Wipro suffered the sharpest drops.
Conversely, Nifty PSU Banks emerged as the top performers, closing more than 1% higher. Nifty Metal, Pharma, and Realty indices also advanced up to 0.5%. State Bank of India, Canara Bank, Bank of Baroda, and Indian Bank were among the key gainers.
