Indian equities continued their losing streak for a fourth consecutive session on Monday, with the Sensex plunging 1,459 points and the Nifty 50 dropping nearly 2% over the last four days, as escalating global trade tensions, foreign fund withdrawals, and tariff-related uncertainty weighed on benchmark indices. On Monday, the Sensex fell as much as 527 points from its intraday peak, hitting a low of 82,010 before partially rebounding to close at 82,253.46, down 247 points or 0.30%. The Nifty 50 slipped 67.55 points, or 0.27%, to end at 25,082.30, after touching an intraday low of 25,001.95.
