Stock Market Recap: Sensex Ends Slightly Up, Nifty Holds Above 24,550

Indian stock benchmarks erased early declines to finish modestly higher on Thursday, supported by late-session buying ahead of the weekly expiry of Nifty derivatives. Index Performance The BSE Sensex, which had dropped as much as 0.9% intraday to a low of 79,811.29, recovered to close 79.27 points, or 0.1%, higher at 80,623.26.
