Under the approved demerger structure:
Tata Motors Ltd will remain a listed company.
It will be renamed Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited (TMPV) and will continue to manage the passenger vehicle, electric vehicle (EV), and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) businesses.
TML Commercial Vehicles Limited will be renamed Tata Motors Limited and will oversee the commercial vehicle division.
During the special pre-open session (9:00 AM – 10:00 AM), the price discovery process determined the listing price of the demerged entity. Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited began trading at ₹400 per share on NSE and ₹399 per share on BSE.
