Today Stock Market : Sensex Surges 650 Points, Nifty Trades Near 24000; $TECHM & $ICICIBANK Lead Gains

Indian equity benchmark indices opened on a positive note on June 24, with the Nifty trading above the 23,950 mark during early session activity. Among the top performers on the Nifty were !Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, $TECHM a, $ICICIBANK , $ADANIENT s, and $TRENT . Meanwhile, $BAJAJ-AUTO , $HINDALCO , $HDFCLIFE , $SBIN , and $MARUTI i emerged as the key laggards. Sector-wise, weakness was observed in capital goods, power, telecom, automobile, consumer durables, media, and metal stocks. In contrast, buying interest remained strong in IT, banking, and FMCG counters.
