BHEL Partners with Horizon Fuel Cell for Hydrogen Locomotives, Wins ₹2,600 Cr Order

has signed a 10-year MoU with Singapore’s Horizon Fuel Cell Technologies to jointly develop hydrogen fuel cell-powered locomotives for India. Additionally, BHEL secured a ₹2,600 crore order from MB Power for supply of boiler, turbine, and generator packages for a 1x800 MW thermal project in Madhya Pradesh. Despite these wins, the company posted a Q1 net loss of ₹445.5 crore, with revenues flat at ₹5,486.9 crore, and the stock trading below key moving averages amid bearish technical signals.
