Hindustan Zinc to Double Capacity, Eyes ₹65,000 Crore Annual Revenue
⚒️ HINDZINC plans to double production capacity to 2 million tonnes, aiming for annual revenue of ₹62,000–65,000 crore and EBITDA of ₹34,000–36,000 crore. The Vedanta Group company posted ₹34,083 crore revenue and ₹17,465 crore EBITDA in FY25. A ₹12,000 crore capex will expand Debari smelter capacity by 2.5 lakh tonnes to 1.38 million tonnes over 36 months. Phase one targets revenue of ₹40,000–42,000 crore and EBITDA of ₹21,000–22,000 crore. Silver output is projected to rise from 700 to 1,500 tonnes annually, while production costs are expected to fall to $1,000 per tonne from $1,052. The government currently holds a 27.92% stake in the company.
