JSW Steel Faces Setback as SC Rejects BPSL Acquisition

’s ₹19,400 crore acquisition of Bhushan Power & Steel Ltd (BPSL), dealing a blow to its expansion plans. The decision could lower FY26 consolidated EBITDA by 10-11% due to the loss of 4.5 MTPA capacity. JSW is expected to receive a refund of the acquisition amount within two months.
