Karnataka Bank Reports Marginal Drop in Q2 Profit, Improved Asset Quality
🏦 KTKBANK posted a net profit of ₹3.19 billion for Q2, down from ₹3.36 billion a year earlier, as revenue slipped to ₹21.79 billion from ₹22.34 billion. However, provisions declined sharply to ₹200.7 million from ₹313.3 million, and asset quality improved — gross NPA ratio fell to 3.33% from 3.46% sequentially, while net NPA ratio eased to 1.35% from 1.44%. The bank remains focused on maintaining healthy asset quality and operational efficiency amid a challenging interest rate environment.
