Titagarh Rail Delivers First Diving Support Craft to Indian Navy
⚓ TITAGARH delivered the first indigenously built Diving Support Craft (DSC A20) to the Indian Navy under the Make in India initiative. The 32.9m catamaran vessel supports clearance diving teams in underwater ops and doubles as a training platform, featuring 72-hour endurance, 11-knot cruising speed, and capacity for 18 personnel. This marks the first naval commissioned vessel built and delivered by a private shipyard in Bengal. TRSL’s board has approved transferring its shipbuilding business to Titagarh Naval Systems, which holds an order book above ₹575 crore and is setting up a new Falta shipyard to produce up to 16 vessels annually.
