Banking stocks power markets to fresh 10-week highs! The Sensex closed up 521 points at 78,285.07, while the Nifty 50 gained 159.50 points to finish at 24,430.35. The rally was led by private banks, especially HDFC Bank, after its strong Q1 business update. Realty, auto and oil & gas stocks also supported the gains, while IT and PSU banks underperformed.
