MCX India holds a strong consolidation breakout setup!
MCX India holds a strong consolidation breakout setup Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (NSE: MCX) is consolidating within a broad ₹3,057–₹3,481 range, while technical indicators are beginning to favour a bullish breakout. Analysts have identified ₹3,340–₹3,370 as the accumulation zone and ₹3,610 as the short-term target. Why it matters MCX was quoted around ₹3,363 when the technical setup was published. The stock has repeatedly found support around its 50-day EMA, while the DI+ indicator has recently crossed above DI-, suggesting that buyers are gradually gaining control. The MCX/Nifty Capital Market Index relative-strength ratio is also rising, indicating that the stock has been outperforming its benchmark. The broader market backdrop is challenging, with crude oil above $100 and continued foreign selling putting pressure on Indian equities. That makes relative strength particularly important when selecting stocks to watch. My view MCX is interesting because it has not yet completed a decisive breakout from the ₹3,481 resistance zone. A close above that level with strong volume would provide a stronger confirmation of the next uptrend.
