ZENSAR — THE AI TURNAROUND IS GETTING REAL 🤖🚀

ZENSARTECH
The next IT cycle won't simply be about writing code. It will be about helping enterprises redesign how they work with AI. And FY27 has started on the right note. Q1 FY27 revenue reached $159.5 million, delivering 1.1% sequential constant-currency growth. The company also reported strategic AI-led deal wins, suggesting demand is gradually shifting toward higher-value transformation work. But the bigger opportunity isn't today's revenue. It's the change in revenue mix. Traditional IT → Cloud → Data → AI → GenAI → Agentic AI. Zensar is already building capabilities around AI readiness, intelligent automation, AI-powered analytics and enterprise GenAI — while its Zenlabs innovation hub focuses on AI, GenAI, NVIDIA technology and IoT. And this creates an interesting flywheel: More AI adoption → More data & cloud requirements → More transformation projects → More engineering work → More recurring enterprise relationships. The company also has exposure to attractive verticals including BFSI, healthcare, manufacturing, retail and technology, giving it multiple avenues for AI-led spending. The bullish thesis is therefore not simply: “AI will help Zensar.” It is: AI increases the value of Zensar's existing capabilities. Cloud + Data + Engineering + Cybersecurity + AI → Higher-value projects → Better client relationships → Potentially stronger pricing → Better utilisation → Margin expansion. And that's where the turnaround becomes interesting. Zensar doesn't need to become India's largest IT company. It needs to keep growing faster, win larger transformation contracts and convert its AI capabilities into higher-value revenue. The risks remain: global IT spending can slow, competition is intense, AI can disrupt traditional service revenues, and quarterly growth remains relatively modest. But the direction is encouraging. **The old Zensar was an IT services company.

Rediff Strengthens Board Ahead of IPO Plans; Rekha Murthy Appointed Independent Director

***** India Limited has appointed veteran technology leader Rekha Murthy as an independent director, marking a key step in its IPO-readiness and governance strengthening efforts. The AI-focused platform company is evaluating capital-raising options, including a potential public listing, with market sources indicating an IPO timeline before Diwali 2026. Murthy brings nearly 35 years of global technology leadership, having held senior roles at IBM, Oracle, SAP, and Digital Equipment Corporation. A Harvard Business School alumna, she currently serves as an independent director at Yes Bank Limited and sits on multiple international boards. The appointment comes as Rediff accelerates its transformation into an AI-first platform, spanning digital payments (RediffPay), enterprise solutions (RediffOne), and secure business communications (Rediffmail Enterprise). Majority shareholder Infibeam Avenues Limited, which recently raised its stake in Rediff to 82%, is also undergoing a leadership and branding overhaul, proposing a rebrand to AvenuesAI Limited. Industry observers view Murthy’s induction as part of broader IPO preparation, with merchant banker appointments expected in due course. The move aligns with renewed investor interest in technology-led listings, following high-profile IPOs such as Meesho, Urban Company, Pine Labs, Groww, and Physics Wallah. Infibeam Avenues Secures RBI Authorization for Offline Payment Aggregation

INFIBEAM
Executive Summary Infibeam Avenues has successfully received authorization from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to operate as a Payment Aggregator for physical (offline) payments under the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007. This critical regulatory approval allows the company to expand its service capabilities beyond online transactions, enabling the deployment of offline payment aggregation services primarily through Point of Sale (POS) devices. Key Strategic Highlights Unified Payment Solutions: The specific approval enables Infibeam to offer a comprehensive, omnichannel payment suite to merchants, integrating both digital and physical payment capabilities under its flagship brand, CCAvenue. Regulatory Strength: This marks the company’s fourth license from the RBI, solidifying its compliance framework. The portfolio now includes licenses for Online Payment Aggregation, Prepaid Payment Instruments (PPI), and the Bharat Bill Pay Operating Unit (BBPOU). Product Synergy: The license supports the company's strategic push into the offline segment, complementing recent product launches such as the SoundBox Max, a device capable of accepting payments via UPI, cards, and QR codes. Industry Outlook & Opportunity The expansion into offline payments aligns with robust industry trends. According to RBI data, POS terminal installations grew by 24.7% in FY25, reaching a total base of 11 million devices. Market projections estimate the Indian POS device market will grow from ₹38.82 billion in 2024 to ₹135.32 billion by 2034, representing a CAGR of 13.3%. Market Reaction Investor sentiment responded positively to the development, with Infibeam Avenues shares trading approximately 3% higher at ₹19.63 on the BSE at the time of reporting. Conclusion This authorization positions Infibeam Avenues to capture a larger share of the merchant acquisition market by bridging the gap between online and offline commerce, driving potential long-term revenue growth.

Launches PayCentral, India's First Agentic Payment Platform

INFIBEAM
, through its AI deep research division Phronetic AI, has developed PayCentral, which is claimed to be India's first agentic payment platform. → PayCentral enables Agent-to-Agent (A2A) digital payment transactions, allowing artificial intelligence agents to execute and manage payments without the need for human involvement. → Built as an intelligent payment infrastructure layer, the platform is designed to integrate with major payment gateways like CCAvenue, Stripe, and PhonePe to deliver faster, automated, and smarter consumer checkout experiences. → The platform is described as an "autonomous system where AI agents can negotiate, initiate, and settle payments in real time". → PayCentral is particularly suited for sectors with strong digital customer identities—such as travel, OTT subscriptions, insurance, and financial services—where instant payment directly correlates with higher sales conversion. → The platform aims to close the "last-mile gap" by allowing a merchant's AI shopping assistant to communicate directly with a payment gateway's AI agent, completing checkout seamlessly with minimal customer consent. → Technically, PayCentral is built on Google's Agent Payment Protocol (AP2) and operates atop multiple Payment Aggregators’ Model Context Protocols (MCPs). → This architecture allows AI agents to autonomously generate payment links, process refunds, manage recurring subscriptions, and reconcile accounts in real time. → CCVenue, Infibeam Avenues' own payment gateway brand, is reportedly in the process of integrating PayCentral into its ecosystem to extend A2A capabilities to its merchant network. → The launch aligns with India's booming digital services economy, including the projected growth of the digital insurance, online travel, and online movie ticketing markets by 2030.
