As seen on the daily chart of AXISBANK
Axis Bank (Cash Segment), the stock appears to be moving independently, unaffected by broader market sentiments. During early May 2025, it traded in a narrow range with flat movement. On May 26, 2025, it made a high of ₹1224.20 but failed to sustain the rally and entered a correction phase. On June 5, the stock hit a low of ₹1175 but held firmly above its 200-day EMA, using it as strong support.
A significant reversal occurred on June 6, the day of the RBI policy announcement, when Axis Bank touched a low of ₹1151.90 (near the 200-day EMA) and rallied sharply, closing above the 14-day EMA. Since then, the stock has shown a consistent buying trend and recently touched a high of ₹1241.60. Over the past three trading sessions, it has been taking strong support at the 14-day EMA (₹1195).
Today, the stock opened at ₹1215.80, made a low of ₹1211.30 and a high of ₹1227.00, before closing at ₹1215.10. The chart indicates the stock is showing resilience to geopolitical tensions and war-related news.
If any positive news emerges for Indian markets, Axis Bank could quickly regain upward momentum.
