Fundamental View-
Nestlé India continued to deliver steady performance in FY25, with consolidated revenue rising to around ₹20,202 crore (3.3–4.5% YoY growth) and net profit coming in at ₹3,207 crore (flat compared to FY24) – Q4 standalone net profit declined 5–6% to ₹885–₹873 crore amid elevated raw material costs for coffee, cocoa and milk. Beverages and confectionery led growth in Q4, while domestic sales reached a record ₹5,235 crore; export sales fell ~8.6% YoY. Despite margin headwinds, EBITDA margin remained robust at 25.2%. Over FY20–25, the company’s revenue CAGR has surpassed 10%, and net profit CAGR around 21%, driven by strong brands like Maggi, Nescafé, and KitKat, supported by premiumisation, innovation, and deep rural and quick-commerce reach.
Nestlé’s formidable product innovation capabilities, urban penetration (93%), wide distribution, strong governance, and high dividend payouts make it one of India’s most resilient FMCG plays, albeit at premium valuations.
