PRE MARKET--> EVERYTHING THAT YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE OPEN

Indian markets enter today's session with a cautiously positive setup. Nifty has started showing signs of recovery from the 24,000–24,100 support zone, while Crude Oil has cooled somewhat. Gift Nifty is currently flat, and global markets have provided limited direction. FII activity was also relatively muted. Crude Oil Cools a Bit Crude Oil has eased somewhat from elevated levels. However, one major theme remains strong: Global Metals Rally Continues This could keep Indian metal stocks in focus and provide additional support to the broader market. For now, the strategy remains: Buy on Dips ---->Nifty Finds Support Nifty has started turning higher from an important support zone. Support: 24,000–24,100 -----> 24,550 — The Key Hurdle On the upside: Resistance: 24,550 Nifty needs to decisively cross this level to establish stronger bullish momentum. ##FII-DII Activity: Mixed, But Derivatives Look Better Institutional Activity — 21 August 2026 Segment FII DII Cash Market -₹542.71 Cr +₹2,124.14 Cr Index Futures +₹363.54 Cr — Index Options +₹838.12 Cr — Stock Futures +₹858.47 Cr — Stock Options -₹205.48 Cr — The headline cash-market number remains slightly negative, with FIIs selling around ₹543 crore. However, the derivatives picture is more constructive: ##Global Metals Rally Remains Strong While broader global cues remain relatively muted, the metals rally continues to stand out.

!HINDCOPPER !VEDL !HINDALCO !NMDC !SAIL !MUTHOOTFIN (GOLD FINANCE) ------->Bottom Line Nifty is showing signs of recovery from 24,000–24,100, while softer crude and strong global metals are providing additional support. FII cash selling remains a minor concern, but their positive index and stock-futures positioning, combined with strong DII buying, makes the setup more balanced. 24,000–24,100 → Strong Support / Buy on Dips 24,550 → Key Resistance
