Technical View- As seen on the chart,
SIEMENS
Siemens has been struggling for the past year, with significant volatility over the last six months due to multiple news events. The major impact came in April when the company’s energy business demerger led to a 50% correction on the ex-date, causing stock value adjustment. In December 2024, management commentary regarding a slowdown in private capex further triggered a 10% fall. Additionally, BofA downgraded the stock citing expensive valuations and growth concerns, adding to investor nervousness. Due to these factors, the stock has been in a continuous downtrend. Technically, the daily chart shows the stock sustaining near the ₹3080 level. It made lows of ₹3082 on June 23, ₹3109 on June 24, ₹3101.70 on June 25, and today, after making a low of ₹3121.50, the stock is trading around ₹3141. Currently, the stock is trading below its 14, 55, and 200-day EMAs, and both MACD and RSI indicate a short-term negative trend. However, the recent price action suggests that the major downfall may be over, and the stock appears to be entering a correction-reversal phase. With a stoploss at ₹3075, a buy-on-dips strategy can be considered, with an upside target of ₹3275–₹3300 in the near term, provided the stock breaks above its 14-day EMA.
