Heromotorcorp to purchase additional equity shares in Ather

The company has informed Exchange as per Disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (“Listing Regulations”) – Update on purchase of additional equity shares in Ather Energy Limited (“Ather”). with reference to earlier communication dated August 27, 2026, wherein we informed , about the decision of the Committee of Directors of the Board of Directors of Hero MotoCorp Limited (“the Company”) to purchase additional equity shares in Ather, an associate company. We would like to inform you that the Company has completed the purchase of 1,18,80,000 (One Crore Eighteen Lakh Eighty Thousand) equity shares in Ather, for a total consideration of ~Rs. 1,758 crore (Rupees One Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-Eight crore (approx.)). Following this transaction, the Company’s shareholding in Ather stands at ~32.8% shares (on a fully diluted basis).
