***. Financial Performance SnapshotDuring Q2 FY26-27, Plastiblends posted healthy revenue expansion, although profitability margins faced near-term pressure due to escalated operating costs.

*** Margin Dynamics & Cost PressuresFrom an investor's perspective, a closer look at the margin profile reveals a sequential moderation driven by external cost spikes:
* EBITDA Margin: Registered at 8.18% in Q2 FY26-27, showing a positive expansion of 72 bps YoY (from 7.46% in Q2 FY25-26), but contracting sequentially from 10.98% in Q1 FY26-27.
* PBT Margin: Stood at 6.35%, improving by 115 bps YoY from 5.20%, but down from 9.13% in the preceding quarter.
** Strategic Cost Absorption: Management noted that raw materials, freight, and energy costs stayed elevated throughout the period. Specifically, fuel surcharges hiked power costs further in Gujarat during Q2. To safeguard long-standing customer relationships and protect market share, the company absorbed a portion of these increased expenses, intending to pass them on in subsequent quarters.
