Ambuja Cements tests a base below key EMAs

AMBUJACEM
is attempting to stabilise near the chart’s displayed ₹65.24 level after a prolonged decline, but the EMA structure remains clearly bearish. Price is below the 20-EMA near ₹66.16, the 50-EMA around ₹69.93, and far below the 200-EMA at ₹79.92. This three-average alignment shows that the recent bounce is occurring against the prevailing trend rather than after a confirmed trend change. The latest candles have emerged from the ₹61–63 region, creating the immediate support zone. As long as this area holds, a short-term recovery attempt can continue. A fresh close below ₹61 would put the recent low area back under pressure and extend the downtrend. The prior breakdown from the ₹75–80 band also means there is considerable overhead supply above the market. For the chart to improve, Ambuja first needs to regain the 20-EMA around ₹66. A move through ₹70 would be more significant because it would recover the 50-EMA and challenge the first meaningful resistance zone. The 200-EMA near ₹80 remains the larger trend-defining hurdle. Volume expanded during the recent low, which makes the current base worth monitoring, but price confirmation is essential. The cement sector can react quickly to demand and cost expectations; technically, however, the stock remains in a bearish phase until it establishes higher lows and reclaims ₹66–70 with sustained buying interest.
