Bajaj Finance revisits a base for a recovery attempt
BAJFINANCE
Bajaj Finance Limited has returned to the ₹950–₹960 region, an area that featured repeatedly in earlier consolidations. At ₹958.30, the daily chart offers a potential support-led recovery setup, provided buyers defend the nearby September–October lows.
The constructive argument comes from this location. The decline from August’s peak near ₹1,170 has brought price back towards an earlier trading base, while the broader recovery from April’s low remains partly intact. A higher low here could create room for another advance.
Candlestick confirmation is still missing. The latest red candle is near its session low, so it does not yet demonstrate seller exhaustion. A strong green candle reclaiming ₹973–₹975, followed by a pullback that holds above the recent ₹940 area, would improve the bullish case.
Ichimoku identifies the next hurdles. The conversion line at ₹990.25 is below the base line at ₹1,009.40, with price beneath both and below the cloud. This keeps the immediate trend weak, but also defines a clear recovery sequence: regain ₹990, then sustain above ₹1,010. That would strengthen the prospect of a move towards ₹1,040–₹1,060.
For a lending business, growth is most useful when accompanied by stable credit costs and healthy funding. Loan-book expansion, collection performance and borrowing costs remain the operating factors to assess alongside any price recovery.
The bias is cautiously bullish around this historical base, conditional on ₹940 holding. A sustained break below it would weaken the setup and shift attention towards ₹920. The first evidence in favour of buyers would be a higher low and renewed strength above ₹975.
