IDFC First Bank breaks below the Ichimoku cloud

IDFC First Bank has slipped to around ₹83.96 after failing to hold the September recovery zone. The decline has pushed price below the nearby Ichimoku levels and under the cloud, leaving a bearish short-term structure. The cloud and base-line cluster in the ₹88–90 area has turned into overhead resistance, while the higher Ichimoku references around ₹97.80, ₹100.54 and ₹102.04 underline how far price is from a full trend repair.

immediate picture is one of breakdown management. ₹83–82 is the first support pocket, and a sustained loss of it can expose ₹80, followed by the earlier ₹77–75 region. The latest fall from the ₹92–94 zone also reinforces a lower-high pattern, so buyers need more than a single green candle to change the technical balance. The recovery route is sequential: first reclaim ₹86, then move through ₹88–90, where the cloud-related resistance is visible. Only after that can the stock attempt the more meaningful ₹97–102 supply band. Volume expanded around the prior sharp March decline, reminding traders that the stock can be volatile near key levels. IDFC First Bank remains a closely watched private-bank name, but this chart favours caution. The essential evidence of improvement would be a higher low above ₹82 followed by a decisive close back above ₹90; until then, rallies may remain corrective within a weakened structure.
