KPIT Technologies - Price Below the cloud

KPITTECH
trades at Rs 583.50, roughly 25% below its 60 day high of Rs 774 and down about 21% over the last 60 sessions. The Ichimoku picture is clearly negative and worth reading carefully, because the shape of the cloud matters as much as the position of price. Price sits below the cloud, which spans Rs 626 to Rs 685. That band is unusually wide, close to 60 rupees, and a thick cloud represents a broad zone of past trading rather than a single line. Wide clouds are harder to reclaim than narrow ones, so the distance to repair here is meaningful. The Tenkan at Rs 595 and the Kijun at Rs 608 are both overhead as well, and the 20 EMA at Rs 596 sits below the 50 EMA at Rs 617, a configuration that has held since December. What keeps this from looking like active distribution is participation. The last completed session traded about 0.45 times its 20 day average volume, and RSI has been flat around 43 for the past ten sessions. Neither buyers nor sellers are pressing. This is a stock drifting rather than being sold. Automotive engineering services depend on research and development budgets at global carmakers, so order flow slows when those programmes are deferred. That is a spending cycle rather than a competitive problem, and it turns when client budgets turn. The immediate marker is Rs 595 to Rs 608. Rs 626 is where the cloud begins, and Rs 546 is the recent low that defines the downside.
