Confirmation bias!

Confirmation bias is the tendency to seek information that supports your existing beliefs while ignoring conflicting data. This is when investors only consider the positive information about their holdings and ignore anything negative. For example, investors buy a stock or decide first and then look for supporting rationale to justify the decision, ignoring the possible shortcomings or downside risks.
