Small investors often are reluctant to approach a financial advisor because they assume he or she will charge exorbitant charges. Nothing can be further from the truth. There are thousands of advisers across the country who service the smallest of investors. Some even work on fixed fee basis which they lower for small retail investors. Always remember everyone starts small and it's perfectly fine to reach out and get good advice in the beginning itself.
