Growth v/s Dividend option!

If you need regular cash flows from your investments, then go for dividend option. If you do not need regular cash flows, then invest in growth option as it will give higher returns. An investor can sell units in growth option as per his/her choice and customize cash flows. Whereas in dividend option, the timing and quantum of the dividend is not in the control of the investor. In dividend option the NAV reduces as dividends are distributed to investors. In growth option the NAV increases as dividends are reinvested in the scheme.
