Growth & Value style investing!

Growth style & Value style are two different types of investing. Growth style focusses on stocks that promise higher earnings growth at higher valuations. While Value style focusses on stocks that are dirt cheap, and they keep alternating in performances. Therefore, growth investors/fund tend to underperform when value stocks are rising, and value stocks/ fund underperforms when growth stocks are rising. Funds that are focused on one particular style would underperform in certain phases of the market. In my view growth stocks at cheap valuation can give stupendous returns.
