Investors in volatile market!

What should investors do with their surplus money in this volatile market? In my view selectivity in buying must be stronger now than ever. They should do due diligence and use bottom-up approach in selecting stocks. They should work on a list of ideas where there is still great value and there is ample scope for strong growth in the future.
