Small cap not always a risky bet!

Buying a small cap stock does not inherently make it a riskier investment over buying a large cap stock. Yes, as a category small cap stocks are considered risky because many of these companies are under researched or not covered by analysts. Some are also penny stocks. But if you do thorough research & due diligence on a potentially high-quality small cap stock then in my view it is a multi-bagger and not a riskier bet over defensive large cap stocks.
