Smart beta funds!

There are several smart-beta funds available in the market ranging from value, alpha, momentum, low volatility, and quality. To make the most of smart-beta funds, you must understand how these factors would work in different markets especially if you are investing through SIPs. A 'Value' factor fund, for instance, would work very differently than 'Momentum' factor fund, though both strategies can make for a compelling investing. Just because these funds are ETFs or index funds, it doesn’t mean that they are entirely passive. Smart-beta funds fall in between a completely passive fund, and an active fund. Funds like this are not suited for first-time investors as it requires a bit of understanding on how it works.
