SME IPO proceeds!

Ideally IPO proceeds should be used for to expand business, improve margins, or reduce debt. But that is not always the case with SME IPOs. In some cases, how ridiculous it may sound but proceeds are used to pay promoter’s home or personal loan. In other cases, it is diverted to non-operational subsidiary in some tax haven country for money laundering purposes.
