Stock should be bought on quality not on cheap valuation alone!

A stock being “cheap” doesn’t mean you should add it to your portfolio. It could be that the fundamental economics of the business has deteriorated. You may be looking at the great “brand” but ignoring the declining market share. Maybe the company is over-leveraged. That is why I always mention that you only buy high quality companies with future growth drivers intact at cheap or low valuations.
