SWP option!

If you require regular cash flows, then one viable option is Systematic Withdrawal Plan (SWP). But remember, withdrawals in first year will result in short-term gain or loss. Withdrawals made after one year will either result in long-term gain or loss. SWP is more effective when you switch to it after remaining invested in the scheme for some years. This gives time for the NAV to multiply or compound. Usually in retirement years it works better.
