Lenskart jumps 10% to 52-week high as Q2 profit doubles

LENSKART
Limited (LENSKART) jumped 10.6% to a 52-week high of ₹762.75 on the NSE on November 5, after reporting a 122.1% year-on-year jump in Q2 FY27 consolidated net profit to ₹227.1 crore, from ₹102.2 crore. The results came out on November 4. Revenue rose 35.7% to ₹2,845 crore, from ₹2,096.1 crore. Profit grew more than three times as fast as revenue, which shows strong operating leverage as the business scales. This is a strong quarter for a company that listed just a year ago. Lenskart debuted in November 2025 at a discount to its IPO price of ₹402. At today’s high, the stock trades nearly 90% above that issue price. Revenue growth above 35% shows demand for its eyewear stores and online channel remains strong. The jump also raises the bar. After a near-doubling from its IPO price, much of the growth is already priced in. Profit of ₹227 crore is still small relative to the company’s valuation, so it needs to keep growing at this pace to justify the rally. A one-quarter profit surge can also include one-off gains, and the full breakdown of margins and store economics will matter more than the headline. Investors should watch EBITDA margins, store additions and same-store growth, international business performance, and any lock-in expiries for pre-IPO investors. The key question is whether Lenskart can sustain profit growth well ahead of revenue once the base gets larger. Disclosure: I do not hold any position in Lenskart Solutions Limited.
