₹300 crore is invested in Shriram Overseas by Shriram Finance.

As part of a phased capital injection authorized by the board in May 2025, Shriram Finance Limited stated on Friday, September 26, that it has invested an additional ₹300.05 crore in its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shriram Overseas. At a premium of ₹147.69 per share, 1.90 crore equity shares were subscribed for at face value of ₹10 apiece. In May 2025, the board approved a total infusion of up to ₹500 crore for Shriram Finance's staged capital infusion in its wholly-owned subsidiary, Shriram Overseas. In a statement, the business stated that "the goal of the capital infusion in Shriram Overseas is to further strengthen its capital base."
