A non-binding agreement to investigate copper mines is signed between Adani Group and Codelco of Chile.
ADANIENT In an effort to strengthen international ties and secure long-term growth potential, the world's largest copper producer, Codelco, a state-owned miner in Chile, announced on Friday that it had signed a non-binding agreement with India's Adani Group to investigate copper projects in Chile.
According to a statement from Codelco, the agreement, which was inked with Adani's Kutch Copper subsidiary, would allow both businesses to examine three copper projects in Chile and lays out a framework that may eventually result in cooperative development. As the businesses evaluate possible cooperation, the agreement permits the sharing of technical, legal, and geological information about the projects.
