Azad Engineering and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries agree to a $73.47 million contract.
AZAD In a disclosure to stock exchanges on Friday, September 26, Azad Engineering Limited announced that it had reached a new long-term contract and price agreement with Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Limited (MHI), Japan, valued at $73.47 million (₹651 crore).
In order to address MHI's worldwide demand in the power generation sector, the contract covers the delivery of highly developed and sophisticated fixed and rotating airfoils for advanced gas and thermal power turbine engines. The two organizations' total contract value now stands at $156.36 million (₹1,387 crore), which is an addition to an earlier agreement inked on November 3, 2024.
