Following Investec's rating on fair valuations, Lupin shares rise and the goal

LUPIN
On Friday, September 12, shares of pharmaceutical company Lupin Ltd. are up more than 3% following an upgrade from brokerage firm Investec. For the sixth consecutive session, the stock has now increased its gains. Investec has increased its price target for Lupin from ₹2,100 to ₹2,265 and upgraded its shares from a 'Hold' rating to a 'Buy' rating. The new objective points to an additional 14% increase over Thursday's closing price of the stock. According to the brokerage, Lupin is in a strong position to take advantage of the forthcoming GLP-1 opportunity in India. Investec considers values to be appropriate in the wake of the recent slump. From January 2 of this year, when Lupin shares reached an all-time high of ₹2,402.90, they have now corrected 17%.
