Following the Q2 business statement, shares of Bank of Maharashtra encounter resistance close to their 52-week high levels.

On Monday, October 6, shares of Bank of Maharashtra Ltd. saw slight increases in value following the release of the state-run lender's preliminary September quarter financial results. From ₹2.76 lakh crore in the same period last year to ₹3.09 lakh crore in the second quarter, the lender reported a 12.1% increase in total deposits. From ₹4.93 lakh crore in the September quarter of previous year to ₹5.63 lakh crore, its worldwide business grew by 14.2%. Deposits into the Bank of Maharashtra's current account and savings account (CASA) rose 14.55% from ₹1.36 lakh crore to ₹1.55 lakh crore during the July–September period.
